03/09-03/11 Rio Grande Arts Festival 24th Annual Spring Arts Show at Expo NM
Creativity is in bloom at Albuquerque's first major art event of the year, the Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival. The festival features the work of more than 225 fine artists and craftsmen from all over the nation.
Now Until 3/11 The Drowsy Chaperone Performance at The Adobe Theatre
The Drowsy Chaperone, a comic "musical within a play," is an homage to American musicals of the jazz age. It won 8 Tony Awards in 2006 including best book.
Also until 3/11 Anne of Green Gables will be at The Albuquerque Little Theatre
This new dramatization captures the charm and excitement of L.M. Montgomery’s enduring classic about an orphan girl, Anne Shirley, from her first encounter with her austere guardian to her thrilling graduation from Queen’s Academy.
3/14 Jeff Dunham will be doing his comedy show “Controlled Chaos” at the Santa Ana Star Center
The new TV special and World Tour offers his millions of fans brand new laughs and hilarious additions to his famed troupe of sidekicks. In the coming months, concertgoers will meet two new Dunham characters: Achmed Junior, the not-as-equally skeletal son of Achmed the Dead Terrorist, and Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself.
Also March is National Women’s History month so continue to stay tuned to DukeCityLocal.com to stay up to date with all of the events celebrating women going on in town.
